Armadillo
The brief was to design a modern working environment with the concept of folding. We were taking part in the 2008 Urbantine Project competition. In a group of six, we came across a way of folding paper into a strong skin of triangles. We developed it further into a tent like structure. With an inflatable frame and PV film coating, the armadillo could be a nomadic studio structure.
